This conference is for women in Bible teaching ministries amongst women, students, young people and children, whether they are full-time, part-time or doing it all in their spare time.

The theme of this year's conference is "Teaching the Epistles."

The conference includes:

• Six expository talks
• Workshop groups of six people, led by an experienced Bible teacher
• A choice of ministry seminars
• Opportunities to pray, relax and have fun together

Delegates will be asked to work on a passage from 1 Peter before they come, so they can present a short summary of their work (not a full-blown talk) to their workshop group. The group will then work on the passage together.

The morning begins at 9am with a short devotional talk from one of the teaching staff, followed by a lecture, and concludes with lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 during which staff will be available to chat about the course and answer your questions.

Our forty-first EMA! And another chance to meet again as pastors, preachers and teachers committed to an expository Bible teaching ministry.

We are delighted to be joined this year by Kevin DeYoung, Senior Pastor of Christ Covenant Church, Charlotte, North Carolina and Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at RTS. A prolific writer, blogger and a fine speaker, Kevin will be giving a Keynote Lecture on each morning of the EMA to set out our agenda of encouraging one another to be STEADY. Being ‘a steady Eddie’ is not thought exciting or glamorous, but it is exactly the mentality of the New Testament: in uncertain times, in difficult times, ‘fulfil your ministry’ right until the very end of the race.

Nigel Styles, Director of the Proclamation Trust and the Cornhill Training Course, will start the day with Bible expositions from 1 Thessalonians to help us to ‘Stand Firm’. The early afternoon ‘lighter’ slot will include encouraging, real-life stories of good things happening in local churches, and a conference sermon ends each day (from three different preachers) to nourish and encourage us.
