A residential conference at Hothorpe Hall for the wives of those training for or in the first six years of ministry.
The Summer Ministers' Wives Conference 2011
The next Summer Ministers' Wives' Conference will be held from 4 - 7 July 2011 at Hothorpe Hall, Leicestershire.
The first few years of ministry marriage are unique! Whether currently at theological college or serving in a first-time-out setting, it is good to have a conference which challenges, helps and encourages you. Our summer wives’ conference is especially planned for wives whose husbands are just starting out in ministry. We will be able to talk frankly and honestly about the joys and sorrows ahead so you will be able to encourage your husband and serve alongside him in the church to which you are called.
For 2011, Piers and Carolyn Bickersteth will be hosting the conference and Piers and Julia Marsden (an experienced minister’s wife) will be helping us grapple with God’s Word and how it speaks to these issues. Expect fun, relaxation, good teaching and insightful application to your own situation.
As with all our residential conferences, there will be time to relax and encourage one another in a friendly setting. A range of seminars will provide a chance to explore some different areas of interest and spiritual growth.

Who should attend?
Wives of evangelical ministers who have been in full-time paid ministry for less than six years or who are in training for ministry. (The Spring Wives conference caters for wives of those who have been in ministry for more than six years).
