A residential conference for those who have been in full time ministry for longer than six years. For 2011 our focus is on faithful Christ-centred preaching from the Old Testament. The conference includes a new and exciting range of practical seminars.
Senior Ministers Conference
The next Senior Ministers Conference will be held from 16 - 19 May 2011 at Hothorpe Hall, in Leicestershire.
We love the Old Testament! We know it is part of the whole counsel of God but we struggle, if we are honest, to preach it well. Certain books seem to remain off limits. Others are visited only very rarely. Our spring senior ministers conference seeks to address this deficiency by helping us preach the Old Testament better through careful modelling and instruction.
For 2011 we welcome Iain Duguid to teach us about preaching the Old Testament with a particular focus on the book of Numbers. Iain is a church pastor, seminary teacher and respected author and his instruction will be of great value and insight. Along Iain, Hugh Palmer will model careful expositions which will warm our heart with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
