A unique opportunity to experience church ministry as it really is. We invite students to come and spend 6 days with a ministry family, mixing classroom teaching and practical church work. The week is for students of any discipline who are seriously considering gospel ministry.
London Week
The next London Week will be held from 10 - 15 December 2010 at Willcox House, 140-148 Borough High St, London.
If you wish to attend please contact the office.
What is it?
London week is a programme planned for students who may be considering fulltime gospel ministry. We place each student with a ministry family in London, living and serving with them in the busy run-up to Christmas. Four weekday mornings are spent at our London base learning about Christian service. The office based sessions will be led by Adrian Reynolds and we will be joined by three London ministers from both the free church and the Anglican church (including Ken Brownell from East London Tabernacle and Jeremy Hobson from Trinity Church - each will bring different experiences to share and draw wisdom from. Afternoons and weekends are spent in the ministry setting. Students regularly feedback that London week has been a significant contribution to the way that God has led them into full-time work.
Details
The cost of the London Week is £85.
Due to the number of ministry placements, numbers for London week are very restricted. Please book early to reserve your space and avoid disappointment. You also need to have the support of your local church leader.
If you serve in a church with university students who may be interested in the London Week, please phone the office and we will happily supply you with some flyers which you can pass onto students. If you minister in London and would be interested in being part of our placement scheme, please also get in touch with us. Please note that conference timetables are subject to change.
