Men in Ministry conference 2025

Event Details

This conference is for men engaged in preaching or Bible-teaching ministry:

• Full or part-time ministers or pastors
• People working on staff teams in churches
• People volunteering in leadership roles in churches preaching or teaching the Bible
• People in the latter years of training for ministry

Robin Sydserff, the new Director of PT, will be speaking on the book of Daniel. Over four sessions, he will help us think about how best to preach or teach a series that takes us through the whole book. While minister of Chalmers Church in Edinburgh for 15 years, Robin preached through Daniel a number of times. He has taught and spoken on Daniel in lots of other contexts and wrote the PT book Teaching Daniel with Bob Fyall. Robin is currently writing Journey Through Daniel for Our Daily Bread ministries.

Andy Gemmill, who leads the Cornhill Pastors Training Course in Scotland, will be preaching through the book of Jonah in three sessions. Andy brings a wide-ranging experience of preaching and teaching in churches and at conferences, as well as helping others to preach and teach. Before coming to Glasgow to lead Pastors Training, for many years Andy was Pastor of Beeston Free Church in Nottingham.

Preaching workshops will run during the conference. and will include: Deuteronomy, Esther, Daniel, Jonah, Haggai and Ephesians.

There will be plenty of set aside time for fellowship, pray and rest.

This Conference will be held at Highgate House near Northampton. All rooms ensuite and single occupancy.

The Conference will start at 4pm on Monday and finish at lunchtime on the Thursday.
