These seminars look at how to preach a series on Elisha's ministry. Many Christians know just one or two stories about Elisha, but reading 2 Kings shows us that he is a figure of great importance. He is, along with Elisha, an embodiment of the central messages of 1 & 2 Kings: a call back to God's word, and to life lived in obedience to God.
As we go through theis story, we see a God who always carries on his work, whatever the obstacles, and not dependent on men or on human successes for his ultimate success.
As well as looking at how to prepare and preach a series on Elisha, these seminars examine many of the real difficulties and challenges of these passages. They will encourage us not only to preach this story, but to preach Old Testament narrative more often.
