The Law of Promise

Because we love the gospel of free grace, we are often wary of preaching the law. We do not want to turn people towards works-based salvation.

Yet Paul, who rejected the works of the law, also said,

"I agree with the law, that it is good" Romans 7:22-25.

William Philip shows us how the law is an integral part of the gospel, witnessing to grace. Not only was it given to show the response of man to the gracious love of a covenant God, it is still a great help to the believer in the daily struggle with sin.
