The second of two seminars looking at how to preach a series on Elisha's ministry. Many Christians know just one or two stories about Elisha, but reading 2 Kings shows us that he is a figure of great importance. He is, along with Elisha, an embodiment of the central messages of 1 & 2 Kings: a call back to God's word, and to life lived in obedience to God.

As we go through theis story, we see a God who always carries on his work, whatever the obstacles, and not dependent on men or on human successes for his ultimate success.
