The purpose of the Cornhill summer school is to focus on learning to handle the Bible responsibly so as to be able to pass on its message faithfully to others, and therefore proclaim Christ with integrity. The programme consists of key elements reflecting the distinctives of PT Cornhill distilled in such a way as to maximise the opportunity afforded by a one week summer school.
The Cornhill Summer School
The next Cornhill Summer School will be held from 27 June - 1 July 2011 at Willcox House, 140-148 Borough High St, London.
The Cornhill Summer School is a non residential course focusing on learning to handle the Bible responsibly so as it pass on its message faithfully to others, and thus proclaim Christ with truth and integrity.
The programme will therefore consist of key elements reflecting the distinctives of PT Cornhill, distilled in such a way as to maximise the opportunity afforded by a one week summer school.
The programme
The summer school will be led by Christopher Ash and other members of the teaching team at PT Cornhill, Cornhill Scotland and Cornhill Belfast. The school is designed for those in the 18-25 age group, whether students or working. The week is ideal for those who are, or who hope to be, involved in leadership or teaching situations. Key elements include:
- Basic principles of Bible handling and interpretation.
- Focus on teaching particular genres contained within the Bible.
- Group work on Bible passages.
- Daily exposition to stir the heart and model what we’ve learned.

The Cornhill Summer School is primarily designed for those in the 18-25 age group, whether students or working. The course is ideal for those who are, or hope to be, involved in leadership and bible teaching situations.

The conference is non-residential, but we are happy to advise regarding accommodation in London - please do get in touch.
Programme timing
The school runs from 9.30am - 4.00pm each day, Monday 28th June to Friday 2nd July. Registration is from 9.00am on the opening day.

The cost of the summer school is £125.
