The Cornhill Summer School :: «

The next Cornhill Summer School will be held from 29 June - 3 July 2009 at Willcox House, 140-148 Borough High St, London.

It will be led by Christopher Ash (Director of the Cornhill Training Course, London), Bob Fyall (Cornhill Training Course, Glasgow) and Stuart Allen (Cornhill Training Course, London).

The Cornhill Summer School is a non residential course focusing on learning to handle the Bible responsibly so as it pass on its message faithfully to others, and thus proclaim Christ with truth and integrity.

The programme will therefore consist of key elements reflecting the distinctives of the Cornhill Training Course, distilled in such a way as to maximise the opportunity afforded by a one week summer school.

The programme:
The core elements of the Summer School are;
> Approaching the Bible - studying basic principles of Bible handling and interpretation
> Bible overview- getting to grips with the story of the Bible as a whole
> Workshops - spending time in small groups working on passages of Scripture together with an experienced Bible teacher
> Bible Exposition - each day will end with modelled exposition; not just to instruct us but to feed our souls!

Who is it for?
The Cornhill Summer School is primarily designed for those in the 18-25 age group, whether students or working. The course is ideal for those who are, or hope to be, involved in leadership and bible teaching situations.
