This year's marriage and ministry sessions were held from 31st January - 1st February 2012 and 23rd - 24th April 2012
Too many ministry marrages are failing. Others are not what they should be. We have let the pressure of ministry pull apart marriage rather than marriage being the bedrock of service for Christ.
Most of us who are married can say that we have pastored those whose marriages are struggling. But, truth be told, how many of our own marriages fare much better? That which our sovereign and gracious God has given for our good often becomes just another pressure point in our service. It should not be so.
These twenty four hour stop overs are for ministry couples to get away, learn, reflect, pray and spend time together. Hosted by an experienced couple, David & Heather Jackman, the small intimate conference (14 couples) is planned to help you grow and serve together.
Held at the beautiful Oasts centre in East Sussex, the timetable allows time to learn together, share experiences and wisdom and, importantly, spend time together as a couple.
Each stopover starts at 11.00 am and finishes the next day after lunch at 12.45pm. In 2011/12 we are hosting two stopovers at the Oasts. We hope to plan these regionally in 2012/13.
Booking
The cost is £150 per couple fully inclusive (including a £50 non-refundable deposit).
