How do we feel when we hear the challenge to Godliness? Our instinctive reaction may be guilt. However hard we try, we keep on messing up time and time again. It is very easy to stop trying – even to stop praying – for Godliness.

Caroline West shows us how Paul doesn’t expect perfection now, but does challenge us to wholehearted devotion to Godliness. By increasing in knowledge of the truth about God’s abundant kindness towards us, we will be stirred up to a Godliness that will affect every area of our lives.
